With most of her 28-year career spent in the field as a Financial Advisor or Branch Manager, Susan Kornegay specializes in the client-facing side of the business, including business vision; core beliefs; client advice process &service standards; team development; business planning &implementation; business model transitions; and marketing communications &strategies.

Prior to launching her consulting &coaching practice, the predecessor to Pathfinder Strategic Solutions, in 2009, Susan was Managing Director of the Practice Consulting Group at Loring Ward. There she developed and launched the company’s Structured Practice website, led the development of all advisor conferences and regional forums and provided individual consulting and coaching to Loring Ward’s independent advisor-clients.

While at Wachovia Securities, Susan helped develop the Practice Management Consulting Group, and later became Director of FA Best Practices. She led the development of many projects and initiatives in support of advisors including their practice management website, the widely acclaimed advanced FA development program Work Smarter, Live Better: Mastering the Business of Advice, and the annual business planning program. She also created and published their Financial Advisor’s Guide to Teams.

Having begun her financial services career as a Financial Advisor with Dean Witter in St. Louis in 1984, Susan was an Assistant Branch Manager for seven years before partnering with another advisor and co-leading their $1.2 million team. After joining Prudential Securities in 1997, she became the Branch Manager in Knoxville, TN and then Complex Manager in Destin/Pensacola, FL before PSI’s merger with Wachovia.

Susan holds a B.A. in Education from The University of Akron and Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Covenant Seminary. She earned the Certified Financial Planner™ certification in 1987, and serves on the board of the East Tennessee Financial Planning Association.

Susan lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with her husband and near her son, daughter-in-law and two very special grandchildren.

You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in Knox County, and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action.

SEVERABILITY. If any provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then the provision shall be construed consistent with applicable law as nearly as possible to reflect the original intent of the parties, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

WAIVER. Our failure to act with respect to a breach by you or others does not waive our right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT. These Terms and Conditions set forth the entire understanding and agreement between you and Pathfinder with respect to the subject matter hereof.
